Police are trying to track down three men in a white Ford truck after two young girls said they were approached by the group in Eastern Passage Thursday.

The girls – both 8 years old – were walking home on Southbrook Crescent when the truck pulled over. The driver said their mom wanted to pick them up, police said.

The girls said no and left.

In March, Toronto police said a 10-year-old girl avoided a man who approached her when he was unable to provide a code word set up by her family.
