Police investigate rash of suburb break and enters

Halifax Regional Police say over the past three weeks, ten homes have been broken into during daytime hours in the area of Main Street and Woodlawn and Mount Edward roads in Dartmouth.

Police are investigating a rash of break and enters in Dartmouth.

Halifax Regional Police say over the past three weeks, ten homes have been broken into during daytime hours in the area of Main Street and Woodlawn and Mount Edward roads.

Officers said the suspects knock on the front door and if no one is home, they break in, steal valuables and leave through the back entrance.

Police are asking for the public's assistance in determining who is responsible.
