Police find missing Sydney man
Observed by friends walking in Membertou around 3:30 p.m.
The Cape Breton Regional Police Service says that 56-year-old Vince Gillis, who had been reported missing by his family early Saturday, has been found.
He had been last seen in the area of Churchill Dr. near the Regional Hospital in Sydney around 8:00 a.m.
Gillis "was observed by friends walking in Membertou around 3:30 p.m.," police said in a statement.
Police said there was no foul play suspected, but his disappearance was uncharacteristic of his behaviour. His family was concerned that he would require medical care, but he was found "in apparent good physical health."
