Police in Halifax have charged a woman after a robbery at a gas station early Saturday morning.

Officers said a woman came into the Irving service station on Windmill Road in Dartmouth around 4:40 a.m. and demanded cash.

They said the suspect left with a quantity of cash and no one was injured.

Investigators said a woman and man were arrested a short time later and cash was seized.

Police said the 25-year-old woman is facing charges including robbery.

The 37-year-old man was released without charges
