Driver struck light pole on Breeze Drive in Dartmouth
A 22-year-old Pockwock man is accused of being impaired while driving a stolen car in Dartmouth on Wednesday night.
Halifax Regional Police say a driver lost control of a black Honda Civic on Breeze Drive, struck a light pole and ran away.
Officers determined the car had been stolen last week from the Tantallon area.
A dog team was called in and the 22-year-old man was arrested less than half an hour later on Avenue Du Portage.
The Pockwock man is facing charges of possession of stolen property, impaired driving and three counts of breaching an undertaking.
