Pedestrian dies on Highway 104
RCMP say a 75-year-old man was killed when he tried to cross the Trans-Canada Highway near Oxford on Sunday.
The man was struck by a car travelling east on Highway 104, in northwest Nova Scotia, at about 5:15 p.m.
The collision led to the closure of the eastbound lanes for several hours.
RCMP say the victim is from Cumberland County, but they have not released his name.
