Foul play has been ruled out in the death of a man at a fire-damaged home in Pugwash, N.S.

Archie Lee Trenholm, 45, was found dead inside a home on Pleasure Cove Road on Tuesday.

RCMP said there had been a fire in the kitchen and living room before firefighters got there just after 1 p.m.

Investigators have determined that the fire was accidental, RCMP said Wednesday.

An autopsy will be conducted, but RCMP said there was no foul play.

The investigation into Trenholm's death continues.
