Lunenburg County RCMP are asking the public to help them solve a mystery involving a naked man — or woman — on the run.

In a statement, the Mounties said they're investigating a "suspicious incident" in Mahone Bay on Aug. 29.

Between 9:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. that night, a naked person was seen running from a wooded area onto Clearway Street. They kept running toward the west.

Identifying the person may not be easy.

"Due to the limited lighting conditions, the gender of the individual remains unknown," said the RCMP.

He or she had shoulder-length hair.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
