Man dies in Barrington crash
A 20-year-old man died and another was taken to hospital after a single-vehicle crash in southwestern Nova Scotia Saturday.
Barrington RCMP say the incident happened on Oak Park Road at about 5:30 p.m.
"The car left the road and one male person [the driver] was ejected from the car," Sgt. MJ DeLuco said Sunday.
The car wound up "demolished" on its side in a copse of trees.
The driver died at the scene. His 17-year-old male passenger was taken to the Yarmouth Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A traffic-collision reconstructionist will be examining the site Sunday. There is no word on the cause of the accident or if either man was wearing a seatbelt.
Both men were from the area.
