Lower Sackville pawn shop raid nets jewelry, electronics and firearm

RCMP raided a pawn shop in Lower Sackville Friday afternoon as part of an investigation into recent break and enters in the area.

A large quantity of stolen jewelry was recovered, as well as electronics and other items.

During the search, a loaded firearm was located and a male is currently in custody regarding that.

Police are requesting that anyone who has had a recent theft of computer games — and did not already provide a serial number to police — to contact the store where they purchased the game(s) to obtain a serial number, in an effort to identify it as theirs.
