A fire Friday night severely damaged a Lake Echo, N.S. home.

A fire Friday night severely damaged a Lake Echo, N.S. home.

The fire happened at a split entry house on Thomas Street, forcing two people from the home.

The Canadian Red Cross is assisting the pair with emergency shelter, food and other support while they await assessment from insurers.
