Knifepoint robbery in Clayton Park investigated

Two teenagers were arrested after Halifax Regional Police said a man was robbed at knifepoint while waiting for a bus in Clayton Park early Tuesday morning.

Two teenagers were arrested after Halifax Regional Police said a man was robbed at knifepoint while waiting for a bus in Clayton Park early Tuesday morning.

A 21-year-old man was waiting for a bus at the corner of Lacewood Drive and Willet Street just after midnight when he was approached by two males.

One of them pulled out a knife and demanded the victim's belongings, said Halifax Regional Police.

The man ran away and dropped his wallet in the process, which was picked up by the suspects. The victim got to a nearby business and called police.

He was not hurt.

A 19-year-old and 14-year-old matching the descriptions given by the victim were later arrested with a knife on Gebhardt Street. They've been released and the investigation continues.
