Kids lace up for unique fitness program
In Nova Scotia, 15,000 children take part in the Doctors Nova Scotia's school running program.
It's a unique program in Canada that tries to promote fitness among children.
But the organizers say the program is now spreading outside of the classroom. Many of the kids enter the Youth Run in the upcoming Bluenose Marathon.
The CBC's Colleen Jones has the story of a little school in Oyster Pond where running is making a difference.
