IWK workers get tentative contract
The union representing about 750 workers at the IWK Health Centre says it has reached a tentative deal with the children's hospital.
The Nova Scotia Government and General Employees Union announced the agreement on Thursday, but said no details would be released until members reviewed the deal.
The union is recommending members of Local 22 accept the agreement. Voting dates have not yet been set.
The medical laboratory technologists, nurses, respiratory therapists and other hospital workers have been without a contract since Oct. 31, 2009.
