HRM surveying new district boundaries

Halifax Regional Municipality has posted a survey on its website asking for the public's input on how to arrange the boundaries of the new number of 16 districts within the municipality, down from 23.

CBC Nova Scotia took to Twitter to see what local people are saying about the proposed boundaries.

On July 27, it was decided by the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board that the number of voting districts and councillors would be reduced from 23 to 16.

The proposed scenarios have been posted online so that the public can have its say through a survey on HRM's website.
