Environment Canada is calling for a messy day on Friday, with up to 10 centimetres of snow and ice pellets and 20 millimetres of rain.
On Thursday morning, crews at the main transportation facility in Burnside were moving the piles of salt to make room for more.
The last big snowfall hit last Friday afternoon, creating slippery roads that made for long delays for commuters driving home.
