Highway 107 reopened following fatal crash

The Forest Hills Parkway in Dartmouth has reopened following a two-car crash on Friday that killed a 31-year-old female driver.

The woman died at the scene. A male driver of the other vehicle was rushed to hospital with serious injuries, RCMP said.

It is believed they were the lone occupants of each of the vehicles involved. 

The crash happened just before 12:30 p.m. on the Highway 107 extension  between Main Street and the Forrest Hills Parkway.

Police advise motorists to slow down and drive according to road conditions.

It was raining at the time of the collision, and heavy rains were expected into the evening.

Whether weather played a role in this collision is part of the investigation, which is still ongoing.
