High winds cancel Marine Atlantic ferry crossing
High winds on the Gulf of St. Lawrence are causing delays for Marine Atlantic crossings between Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador.
The MV Blue Puttees is holding in Port Aux Basques. Its Thursday 11:30 am sailing has been rescheduled to leave at 11:45 p.m.
The MV Leif Ericson, used by commercial traffic, is also in Port Aux Basques and the MV Highlanders is tied up in North Sydney.
