Heavy rain expected in N.S.

Environment Canada has issued rain warnings for the Atlantic coastal region — from Digby to Cape Breton counties. Between 25 to 30 millimetres is expected.
The wild weather is anticipated as a storm moves across Ontario.
CBC meteorologist Johanna Wagstaffe says southerly winds will push temperatures above the freezing mark Monday afternoon and evening, turning snow into rain.
Wind gusts of 100 km/h are expected along the eastern shore in the evening.
Northern Cape Breton can expect 15 centimetres of snow before the rain hits overnight.
Much of Nova Scotia was hit with heavy rain and fresh snow last weekend.
