Halifax police say bag left in downtown area not suspicious

Halifax police have reopened a section of the city's downtown after they determined that a suspicious bag left on a sidewalk was a gym bag.
Police, including a bomb technician and a bomb-sniffing dog, were called in after someone reported a large, black duffel bag was left on a sidewalk at George and Hollis streets.
