Halifax police looking for buttocks grabber

A woman says a man grabbed her bottom and slapped her twice before running away Sunday night in downtown Halifax.

A woman says a man grabbed her buttocks and slapped her twice before fleeing in downtown Halifax.

Halifax Regional Police said the woman and a friend were walking along the waterfront late Sunday night when two men approached.

The women told police the men tried to talk to them, and when they walked away, the men followed.

One of the women was assaulted as they turned onto Lower Water Street, and then both men ran away, police said.

The suspect is described as an Asian man between the ages of 18 and 22, wearing a white T-shirt with a logo on it and khaki shorts.

The other man was wearing a brown shirt and khaki shorts.
