The Halifax Regional Police say Amy Elizabeth Ogilvie is back at the East Coast Forensic Hospital after being relocated Saturday.

Ogilvie went missing May 5, when she failed to return to the hospital after leaving on a day pass.

The police are releasing few details, but they said she was found in Dartmouth near the hospital. There is no word on her condition.

Ogilvie has been a hospital patient for nearly a year. On May 1, 2011, she was caught trying to take a boy out of a cart in a store. A judge found her not criminally responsible because of her mental disorder.

In March, Ogilvie was given a conditional discharge which granted her a wider range of access to the community – including day passes and night passes to stay in her Kentville apartment.

The temporary pass system is currently under review after Andre Denny was charged with second-degree murder while out on a one-hour pass from the hospital.
