Halifax bans parking on 3 streets overnight to clear snow
Stretches of Quinpool Road, Dresden Row and Hollis Street will be off-limits from midnight
Three Halifax streets will be closed to parking overnight as city crews continue to remove snow.
The following streets will be off limits to parked vehicles from midnight to 6 a.m. on Wednesday:
- Quinpool Road outbound from Monastery Lane to Poplar Street
- Dresden Row from Sackville Street to Clyde Street
- Hollis Street from the Cogswell Interchange to South Street
The municipal overnight parking ban has been lifted for the rest of the city.
The city said in a release that this winter it is trying to remove more snow from problem areas in between storms so traffic can keep flowing and there are places to park.
