Three Halifax streets will be closed to parking overnight as city crews continue to remove snow.

The following streets will be off limits to parked vehicles from midnight to 6 a.m. on Wednesday:

  • Quinpool Road outbound from Monastery Lane to Poplar Street
  • Dresden Row from Sackville Street to Clyde Street
  • Hollis Street from the Cogswell Interchange to South Street

The municipal overnight parking ban has been lifted for the rest of the city.

The city said in a release that this winter it is trying to remove more snow from problem areas in between storms so traffic can keep flowing and there are places to park.
