Halifax man charged with sexual assaults

A Halifax man has been charged in connection with several of sexual assault in the city's downtown.

A Halifax man has been charged in connection with several incidents of sexual assault in the city's downtown.

A 33-year-old man will appear in Halifax Provincial Court Friday to face two counts of sexual assault, three counts of assault and one count of criminal harassment.

Police say the incidents were unrelated.

Women were approached by a man in downtown Halifax on March 20, 27 and 28.

In each incident, the man allegedly touched the women in a sexual manner.

In one of the cases, the man continued to follow a woman for several blocks.

Police arrested the man Thursday night on Brunswick Street without incident.
