RCMP charge 4 men with sex assault of girl, 14, in Bible Hill

RCMP says girl told police she was sexually assaulted at a house party on Dec. 18, 2015.

Men charged in sex assault of teen are from Ontario and Nova Scotia

Four men, two from Nova Scotia and two from Ontario, have been arrested and charged with sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl in Bible Hill, N.S., late last year.

The girl told Colchester District RCMP she was sexually assaulted at a house party on Dec. 18, 2015, police said in a news release Thursday.

After an "extensive investigation," a 27-year-old Sarnia, Ont., man was arrested March 31 and a 25-year-old man from Cornwall, Ont., was arrested on April 12, RCMP said.

Both suspects were brought back to Nova Scotia from Ontario to face charges of sexual assault and sexual interference.

Two Colchester County men, aged 21 and 23, were arrested in January and charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.

The group, with the exception of the Sarnia man, was arraigned in Truro provincial court Wednesday.

The next court appearance for all four men is May 4.
