Free Wi-Fi coming to Berwick

The town of Berwick, N.S., will soon be offering free high-speed wireless internet in its downtown area for residents and visitors.

The town of Berwick, N.S., will soon be offering free high-speed wireless internet in its downtown area for residents and visitors.

"In this day and age, downtown Wi-Fi is really a must. It’s a tool for businesses, a great service for residents and we expect it will draw and keep people and visitors in the Berwick area," said Mayor Donald Clarke in a release.

The town said the network will cover most of the downtown core.

The municipality teamed up with Valley Community Fibre Network Authority and the Town of Windsor,  which is providing technical support
