Fire forces 4 people out of Sydney apartment building

Four people are temporarily homeless after a fire damaged their Cape Breton apartments overnight.

Four people are temporarily homeless after a fire damaged their Cape Breton apartments overnight.

The Canadian Red Cross said it started at about 12:15 a.m. in a small building with main floor and basement-level apartments in Sydney.

The organization has arranged emergency lodging for one person.  The others are staying with family or friends.

No one was hurt in the fire at 133 Colby Street.

There's no information on the cause yet.
