Jacksons Point man, 69, found dead after cottage fire

A 69-year-old man has been found dead following a fire in Jacksons Point, N.S. 

RCMP in Cumberland County were called to a structure fire at a cottage near Tidnish just after midnight Thursday. 

Police say the building was fully engulfed in flames by the time officers and the Tidnish Bridge Fire Department arrived.

Police say a man from Jacksons Point was found dead inside. 

The Nova Scotia Office of the Fire Marshal is examining the cause but police say the fire is not being treated as suspicious.
