A crash and an RV fire on outbound Highway 103 have shut the highway and caused delays for motorists Saturday.

The traffic trouble began when firefighters were called to a motorhome fire on Highway 103, just past Exit 3 around 4 p.m.

That fire shut the highway between the Timberlea and Hubley exits. Crews were able to bring the fire under control quickly.

Shortly after, a second incident — this time a crash — closed Highway 103 between the Bayers Lake exit and the Timberlea exit.

Police said the highway was expected to reopen around 6 p.m.

There's no word on whether anyone was injured.
