Guyleigh Johnson is an African Nova Scotian woman from North-End Dartmouth. She is a published author, artist, and community advocate who focuses on youth, race and mental health. Her first book of poetry, Expect the Unexpected, was published in 2016. In 2018 she published Afraid of the Dark, a collection of poetry and prose. Both collections were published by Pottersfield Press.
