Car goes wrong way on one-way street, hits parked car

New Glasgow Regional Police say a woman is being held in custody after a vehicle hit a parked car after going the wrong way on a one-way street.

New Glasgow Regional Police say a woman is being held in custody after a vehicle hit a parked car after going the wrong way on a one-way street.

The crash happened Tuesday, and both cars were extensively damaged.

Police said no one was hurt.

A 24-year-old woman now faces several charges including:

  • Theft of a motor vehicle
  • Two counts of breach of probation
  • Possession of stolen property
  • Driving with no licence
  • Failing to obey traffic signs

The woman is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday morning.
