Car crash leaves 1 dead in Annapolis County

The RCMP is investigating a fatal single vehicle crash in Annapolis County.

The RCMP is investigating a fatal single vehicle crash in Annapolis County.

The accident took place at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday on Old Mill Road in South Farmington.

The vehicle failed to make a turn, left the road and hit a tree and a power pole.

The sole occupant of the vehicle, a 22-year-old male from Victoria Vale, N.S., was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

The name is being held until next of kin is notified.
