Benoit Bilodeau still missing after unsuccessful search at Bissett Lake
Bilodeau, from Fermont, Que., was last seen on Nov. 21 at 4 p.m. near 12 Wing Shearwater
Searchers say they'll regroup after another day of work has turned up no sign of a missing sailor from 12 Wing Shearwater.
Halifax Ground Search and Rescue and the RCMP police dog service searched two trail areas in the Bissett Lake area Wenesday looking for Leading Seaman Benoit Bilodeau.
The trails are commonly referred to as the Caldwell Road Trail and the Salt Marsh.
"No, we didn't find Mr. Bilodeau, unfortunately," RCMP Const. Mark Skinner said Wednesday.
"Obviously officers are very concerned for him and we continue to search for him."
The Canadian Forces says Bilodeau, from Fermont, Que., was last spotted Nov. 21 at 4 p.m. walking near a bus stop in front of the base where he lived in the area of 12 Wing Shearwater in Dartmouth.
Skinner says search and rescue teams are going to regroup and make decisions about what to do next.
