Halifax Water crews have repaired a section of a broken 20-centimetre main water in Bedford that left many residents without water Wednesday morning.

Halifax Water crews have repaired a section of a broken 20-centimetre water main in Bedford that left many residents without water Wednesday morning.

The pipe broke on Orchard Street at about 3 a.m. Wednesday, Halifax Water spokesman James Campbell said. Water was restored to more than 100 customers by about 11:30 a.m.

Customers on Monarch Drive and Basinview Drive were also affected by the break.
