Bedford water main repaired
Halifax Water crews have repaired a section of a broken 20-centimetre water main in Bedford that left many residents without water Wednesday morning.
The pipe broke on Orchard Street at about 3 a.m. Wednesday, Halifax Water spokesman James Campbell said. Water was restored to more than 100 customers by about 11:30 a.m.
Customers on Monarch Drive and Basinview Drive were also affected by the break.
