Alderney ferry will soon run on reduced schedule

Starting next week the Alderney ferry service will only run on a 30 minute frequency as one of the vessels undergoes scheduled maintenance.

Starting next week the Alderney ferry service will only run on a 30 minute frequency as one of the vessels undergoes scheduled maintenance.

The city said one of boats that normally runs between Dartmouth and the Halifax waterfront will be out of service for several weeks.

Departures from the Dartmouth side will be on the hour and 30 mark, while departures from Halifax will leave on the 15s and  45s.

The reduced schedule starts on Sept. 9
