6 sailors saved off the coast of Lunenburg
Whale watching boat, fire crews pitch in
Six boaters are safe and back on dry land after their sailboat hit a reef near Lunenburg, N.S. on Sunday night.
The six-metre long boat got stuck just off the village of Blue Rocks shortly after 6:30 p.m.
A rescue boat from the Lunenburg fire department and a nearby whale watching vessel tied up to the boat and pulled it free.
No one was injured.
