$500K of fish stolen from warehouse

A Barrington, N.S. fish warehouse has had $500,000 of dried frozen cod stolen.

Thieves stole $500,000 of dried frozen cod from a Shelburne County fish warehouse

Barrington RCMP say the theft of 58,766 kilograms of fish took place between Saturday and Tuesday at a Shag Harbour warehouse.

The fish was packaged in boxes and on pallets. RCMP estimate 40 to 50 pallets were stolen.

RCMP say a forklift at the scene was used to load the pallets on trucks.
