5 sent to hospital after Waverley Road collision
Teenaged girl flown to hospital
Two children, two adults and a 16-year-old girl were all taken to hospital after a head-on crash on Waverley Road in Dartmouth Tuesday morning.
Halifax police said a Ford Ranger crossed the center line and collided with a Hyundai Santa Fe around 11:15 a.m.
Police said the teenager driving the Ford has serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. She was flown to hospital in a LifeFlight helicopter.
The two children, aged 3 and 9, and two adults in the other vehicle were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police closed down the road as investigators checked the scene.
