4th man arrested in Fairview stabbing

Halifax police have charged a fourth man in connection with a stabbing in Fairview earlier this month.

Halifax police have charged a man with attempted murder in connection with a stabbing in Fairview.

Tylor Donovan McInnis, 21, was picked up on Friday, a week after a 22-year-old man was attacked by group while sitting in his car on Evans Avenue.

McInnis is due in court on Monday to face 27 charges, including attempted murder, aggravated assault, uttering death threats, and intimidation of a justice participant.

Police said a handgun was seized when McInnis was arrested getting out of a car.

Tylisha Marie Voeltz, who was arrested at the same time, also faces multiple weapons charges.

Three other men face charges related to the stabbing.

Police said at the time that the victim wasn't co-operating with the investigation.
