4 men charged with stealing gas in the Halifax area

Four young men are accused of stealing from a handful of gas stations in the Halifax area between December and mid-February.

Four young men are accused of stealing from a handful of gas stations in the Halifax area between December and mid-February.

Police said they pilfered gasoline and at least seven air compressors from gas stations.

The four men, all between the ages of 18 and 22, are also accused of being in possession of a boat that was reported stolen from a business in Chester.

The four face charges of theft over and under $5,000 dollars, as well as break and enter and mischief.

Police said they are from Fall River, Brookside and Hammonds Plains.

They're due in court in at the end of March and later in April on more charges.
