No one was injured during Friday night incident

Halifax Regional Police are investigating an armed home invasion late Friday night on Windmill Road.

Police said people in a ground floor apartment answered a knock at their the door around 10 p.m.

Three men entered the house, one had a gun and two had their faces covered.

The men rummaged through the apartment but police said they didn't take much.

No one was hurt.

Sgt. Greg Robertson says the incident lasted just five minutes.

"They kept asking the occupants of the apartment where the 'stuff' was. They searched the apartment and eventually left with a small amount of property — electronics and cigarettes," he said.

The two people inside the home told police they have no idea who the suspects are or what they were looking for.

Police are now trying to track down the three suspects and are asking anyone with information to contact them.

Robertson said this appears to be an isloated incident.
