Three youths are facing charges after RCMP accused them of forcing their way into a house in Pictou, then assaulting and threatening men who were inside.

Officers said they got a complaint about three people who had forced their way inside a building on Saturday. Two 20-year-old men were assaulted, said RCMP.

The three youths, all 17 years old, are also accused of threatening a 19-year-old man.

One of the victims was injured but did not require medical attention.

RCMP said the suspects and victims knew each other and this was not a random act.

All three accused are scheduled to appear in provincial court on Monday.
