Three Halifax teenagers are facing weapons charges after an incident involving a BB gun early Sunday morning.

According to police, a man walking in the west end of the city was shot in the arm from a passing vehicle at about 3:15 a.m.

Police spotted the suspects' vehicle and pulled it over. They seized a BB gun and arrested two 18-year-old men and a 17-year-old man.

While police were at the scene of the incident, a second victim approached officers and said he too had been struck by a pellet while walking on Quinpool Road.

Police believe there may also be a third victim and are asking anyone who believes they were similarly targeted to contact them.

The three suspects are facing charges of two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and two counts of assault with a weapon.
