2 suspects sought in Halifax knifepoint robbery

Halifax Regional Police are looking for two men after a man reported being robbed at knifepoint on Hollis Street early Friday morning.

Halifax Regional Police are looking for two men after a man reported being robbed at knifepoint on Hollis Street early Friday morning.

The man was walking in the 1,600 block of Hollis Street — near the intersection with Sackville Street — at approximately 3:45 a.m. when he was approached by two men.

One suspect had a knife and the men demanded money before running away, said Halifax Regional Police.

No one was injured.

The suspects are described as two black males. One is approximately 35 years of age and was wearing a winter jacket with fur on the hood and an Atlanta Hawks tuque.

The second suspect was wearing a grey hoodie and an Atlanta Braves baseball hat.
