2 men facing charges after Dartmouth stabbing
Not a random act, say police
Two Dartmouth men are facing charges after a stabbing at an apartment on Pleasant Street Wednesday night.
Halifax Regional Police were called to the 200 to 300 block of Pleasant Street shortly after 7:20 p.m. after a 39-year-old man was stabbed with a knife.
He was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
A 50-year-old man is facing charges of aggravated assault, while the 39-year-old victim is expected to be charged with eight counts of breach of recognizance and two counts of probation violations.
Both men were held overnight and are expected to appear in Dartmouth provincial court on Thursday.
Halifax Regional Police said they don't think this was a random act.
