2 held after Sydney college robbed
Police say two men in their 20s will appear in court Tuesday to face several charges after a break-in at a college in Sydney, N.S.
Police responded to a report of two men trying to break into the Cape Breton Business College on Jamieson Street around 9 p.m.Monday.
Officers ended up chasing and arresting two suspects who tried to flee the scene on foot.
Police say a search found several laptop computers that had been taken from various areas of the building and had been packed for removal.
The men also face several charges in relation to a pair of earlier hit-and-run vehicle accidents.
Police say a car involved in a crash with another vehicle on Prince Street fled from the scene and was later found smashed into a power pole on Henry Street.
