Windsor RCMP were called to a residence on Highway 215 at about 5:15 a.m.

The victim, from Hants County, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect, a 21-year-old male from Hants County was arrested by police.

The suspect was taken to hospital, treated for minor injuries and returned to police custody where he remains.

No charges had been laid as of 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

"I think it was a fairly big party through the night, this morning when the incident happened, it had died down somewhat, but there were still a fair amount of witnesses on scene," Fogarty said.
