Tickets for the first round of the QMJHL playoffs went on sale Thursday morning, and within an hour more than 16,000 were snapped up to see the Mooseheads play in Halifax.

Over 100 eager fans lined up for the March 22 and March 23 games.

Carlton Maybee said he came at 4 a.m. hoping to snag some tickets.

"I wanted to get [these] four tickets that I know about. Hopefully it works," he said.

It's still not clear who the leading Mooseheads will play yet. It could be either the Saint John Sea Dogs or Sherbrooke Phoenix.
