Drug bust nets 2 Fort McPherson, N.W.T., men

Two Fort McPherson, N.W.T., men face trafficking charges after RCMP seized marijuana from a vehicle travelling on the Dempster highway.

The RCMP seized eight pounds of marijuana from a vehicle travelling along the Dempster Highway north of the N.W.T.-Yukon border.

Two Fort McPherson, N.W.T., men have been charged in relation to the incident.

Charlie Harold Oscar, 59, has been charged with one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking. He was released and will appear in court March 7 in Fort McPherson.

The second man, Arnold Andy Kimiksana, 46, was charged with one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of failing to comply with a probation order.

He was also released and will appear in court in Fort McPherson on May 2.
