First look: Trail of the Caribou documentary to tell stories of the Regiment
We're proud to bring you a taste of a full-length documentary that will air across Canada next year.
In preparation for the 100th anniversary of Beaumont Hamel next July, Allan Hawco and Mark Critch are telling the story of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment through a documentary called Trail of the Caribou.
This past summer, they travelled to Turkey, Belgium and France where they were joined by Alan Doyle to retrace the regiment's footsteps in the First World War.
The full documentary, which is a partnership of CBC Newfoundland and Labrador and the City of St. John's, will air next year.
We're proud to give you a taste of what's to come.
